Students created digital presentations in Wixie detailing the history, purpose and impact of inventions people often take for granted. They displayed the projects for third-graders, who served as evaluators and practiced giving constructive feedback through “Glows and Grows” notes — highlighting strengths while offering helpful suggestions.

One third-grader said she admired the presentations and enjoyed providing tips on ways to improve them. Another was surprised to discover how many special effects Wixie offers.

The event built confidence among the fourth-graders while sharpening listening and feedback skills for the third-graders, fostering a stronger sense of community across grade levels.

“This opportunity has inspired my students to explore more of what Wixie has to offer as they work on their own presentations,” said Ashley Moreno, a third-grade teacher.

The expo illustrated how teacher teamwork can elevate learning and spark creativity for students at every level.
